Topic #1: Navigating asexual and aromantic identity in a sexual/romantic world: In a world where the sexual and the romantic are perceived to be inherently natural, this workshop will focus on how asexual and aromantic identities rest in opposition to many socially-constructed, or naturalized, expectations of Western society. It addresses the challenges for self-identified ace, aro, and/or questioning people in navigating such a world.
